Tents and Motorhomes

Our sheltered camping area within the grounds of the Plume of Feathers Inn, backs onto the moor and is the perfect base for exploring Dartmoor. The well-kept, grass paddock has space for 75 tents and hardstanding for ten motorhomes.

Drinking water and waste facilities can be found in the adjacent bunkhouses. Situated at the centre of Princetown, our site is very close to the shops and other amenities of the village. We provide barbecue facilities for customers and campers and can supply charcoal, burgers, and sausages if given notice. Of course, you are welcome to use the bars and restaurant of the inn.

The large, enclosed children's play area has safety surfaces and exclusion of dogs is ensured by the two-gate entrance "lock". Dogs are welcomed at the site if kept on a lead.
